Reception

You enter Birch Radio into the Reception Room, with its pastel blue walls and pine furniture. Here you can get a drink before you enter the corridor to the studios.This corridor is lined with photos and press cuttings showing our history, and passing the Record Library on your left, you arrive at the door of Studio One.

Library

Back in the Record Library, a PC holds all the tracks in a database indexed both by artist and title. All Birch Radio's music is now on CD, minidisc or PC. A second PC acts as an audio editor and hosts internet modem connection. A printer, fax machine and the Request Line answer phone are also in the room. Each member has their own message tray, usually overflowing with CDs, etc.
