The 'U' shaped console is centered around a Sonifex Sovereign MX14S mixer with 14 stereo channels, which include 3 microphone faders with EQ, a gram channel with preamp and EQ, and 2 Telco channels.

Music is provided from two Denon DN 650F and one Broadcast Technology CD players mounted in a pod to the presenter's right. Also in the pod is the Tieline codec for the sports commentary and OBs. Under the pod are Denon 990R and DN 980F minidisc machines plus a LAD record deck. The satellite news receiver is also here. In the legs of the console are two Denon DRM560 cassette decks, a Denon PMA250 power amp, 2 Sonifex HY 02S telephone balancing units, and a snoop tape controller.

In front of the presenter are PCs, one controlling the minidisc player and also for access to the internet and Record Library. The other holds the Myriad automation software for live assist. Microphones are a Studio Projects B1, an Audio Technica MB200L and an AT 4033A. The teletext TV and a CCTV monitor complete the studio's equipment list. The wall behind the presenter is filled with the CD and minidisc library.
